KCI Trailhead Student Feedback #2
SESSION 2
“Hearing the stories of the people from Kingdom Causes really challenged me to think about my commitment to my faith in God. I think it caused me to ask the question: ‘Would I maintain my faith throughout trials like that?’ Their stories (along with Immigrant Hope’s) really inspired me to think about my faith and also made me think about how important maintaining and growing in relationship with God really is. Kingdom Causes also really inspired, challenged, and changed how I thought about the world’s needs. I feel really inspired to go home and really help the community or at the very least be more aware and loving to the homeless. I really want to see if I can bring dignity and hope to Phoenix/Scottsdale Arizona.” - Bria
“I think that going to the KCI center really made me think a lot about how God influences those around me and in my community. It helped me realize that the teachings of Christ truly can change the world and people. It was amazing to see how faithful the people of KCI were. It gave me hope.”
“The presentations about homelessness most inspired how I think about the world’s needs; the presentations showed how terrible homelessness was, but how normal people like me could help solve some of it. For example, DJ gave food to some of the homeless on Wednesdays.”
“Kingdom Causes opened my eyes to the struggle of homelessness. I have always had a heart for homeless individuals, but Kingdom Causes showed me the other side of the coin. I was unaware of how suddenly people can become homeless. The experience was truly moving.” - Kaitlyn
“I think the KCI presentation helped me see the people around me as more than their situation.”
“Talking to Kami was such a unique experience, being able to talk with her about her life and experiences was such a valuable time and within that short time, I was able to talk to her it shed a new light on my life and how I can move deeply look at people with the eyes of Jesus, and help those around me.” - Catherine
