  • BRAD FIELDHOUSE

    EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

    Brad Fieldhouse is a Southern California native and has had the privilege of working with many amazing leaders over the years as the Founder/Executive Director of nonprofit organization Kingdom Causes, Inc (KCI). Over the past 20 years, the wide-ranging efforts of KCI have included work in homeless services, anti-human trafficking, workforce development, housing, community data analytics, and more. In addition, Brad has worked in a consulting capacity with hundreds of nonprofits and marketplace leaders. Brad has been married to Cari for 26 years and they have four grown children.

  • Jeff Shaffer

    SANTA BARBARA REGIONAL CATALYST

    Jeff Shaffer has been married to Julia since 1990 and has three children - Kairos, Kennah, and Kalum.  He has worked with friends without homes for 17 years and has been on the County's Human Trafficking Task Force combating Human Trafficking since 2014.  He has worked with Westmont students in various roles since 2008. He is currently the Santa Barbara Regional Catalyst for KCI and wants to encourage everyone to seek the holistic flourishing of Santa Barbara, neighborhood by neighborhood.

  • KAYLA PETERSEN

    CATALYTIC LEADERSHIP INTEGRATOR

    Kayla Petersen is a Westmont grad and has experience facilitating cross-sector conversations in the Santa Barbara community, navigating complex issues like homelessness, and has replicated and expanded service navigation sites in Santa Barbara for people experiencing homelessness. She now works with Kingdom Causes in Santa Barbara in partnership with the SB County Human Trafficking Task Force, assisting in the development of a strategic leadership team and action groups serving survivors of trafficking.

  • DANIEL "DJ" JOHNSEN

    NEIGHBORHOOD IMPACT COORDINATOR

    Daniel “DJ” Johnsen is the Neighborhood Impact Coordinator for the Santa Barbara Catalytic Team. He brings faith communities, students, and neighborhood allies together to improve outcomes for people living on the margins in SB County. Prior to joining KCI, DJ spent 5+ years working in community development as Pastor of Compassion, Mercy, and Justice at Oceanhills Covenant Church.

  • JIM WRIGHT

    DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT

    Jim Wright supports the organizational development of the Santa Barbara Catalytic Project. He was a career lawyer, originally in London and then for over 15 years in Egypt. He is also involved in KCI’s work with students from Westmont College, where he is an adjunct faculty member.

  • DELANEY ANDERSON

    COMMUNICATIONS ASSOCIATE

    Delaney Anderson graduated from Westmont College with a degree in Communication Studies. Her efforts at KCI include sharing the organization’s mission with current and future partners. Originally from San Diego, Delaney has experience in event coordinating and nonprofit local engagement. She enjoys being active, and embraces being an introvert by writing, and frequenting the beach — often with a coffee in hand!

  • BRYAN CULLISON

    GRANTS MANAGER & WEBSITE ADMINISTRATOR

    Bryan Cullison has been married to Erica since 2017, and they have a son named Justice. Bryan has been working in the nonprofit world since he moved to Los Angeles in 1996, mentoring youth, teaching, discipling, and church planting. Informally, he developed friendships with neighbors experiencing homelessness and learned more about the system of services and obstacles that faced the unhoused. His work in communities around South Los Angeles also led him to become aware of the issue of human trafficking, which was happening in his own neighborhood. He joined the KCI and City Net Teams in 2019.
