Susana was born and raised in Long Beach, California. After graduating from Polytechnic High School, she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Social Behavior from the University of California, Irvine.
Susana is a Youth Leader at Long Beach First Friends Church. Her passion is to equip and make disciples through teaching, mentoring, and living side by side with others. She serves as a Sunday school teacher, bass player and singer of the praise band, NexGen Mobilizer, and mentor to young ladies. At UCI, she was a life coach for her peers and hopes to start a counseling ministry at Long Beach First Friends Church.
Long Beach is her home. No other city that she has traveled to compares to Long Beach. She admires the vast diversity in the city, which is illustrated by driving down Atlantic Avenue and seeing billboards in three different languages (English, Spanish, and Khmer). Although Susana sees the great memories she has in Long Beach, she also sees the brokenness in Long Beach. She desires to spread God's healing throughout the city.
