1st Annual Alhambra Pastors Prayer and Appreciation Breakfast

October is Clergy Appreciation month. We say thank you to our Alhambra Pastors at the Annual Alhambra Pastors Prayer and Appreciation Breakfast. 20 pastors gathered for this event that was hosted by the mental health task force and made possible by the partnership of the local Alhambra Churches who brought cards and gifts for their pastors in addition to serving them breakfast.

Amber Nyland led a special worship time, retired Pastor Jim Sturgis gave a moving exhortation from Galatians on not growing weary in doing good, Laura Depp (MFT) gave encouragement in the area of self-care, Beyond All Words/Solely4Him Dance Team offered a beautiful rendition of The Lord’s Prayer.

The best part was looking around the room to see how blessed we are by the amazing diversity and experience of the pastors represented.

Let’s continue to pray for our pastors and their ministries!
