::EDUCATION TASK FORCE::

Kingdom Causes Torrance works to see God's Kingdom saturate every sector of our city.  In Torrance, the education department is the largest entity in the city, serving 25,000 kids in 31 schools.  Therefore, it is obvious to us that uniting believers in education is a key component to seeing community-wide transformation. 

With the help of Mike Ernst, Torrance Board of Education, Principle Chris Sheck, Pastors Steve Ernst and Lon Murata, Kingdom Causes Torrance is developing a strategic plan to unite the Christian community to serve our Torrance schools.  We are currently developing our vision, mission and values, which we will post as soon as we finish.  Keep us in prayer as we seek God's direction.

Another part of our vison is to see every school in Torrance adopted by at least one church.  Torrance congregations are now able to form "official" partnerships with their local school.  We had our first two ceremonies where the Pastor and Principle signed their M.O.U. in a church service, which was also attended by School Board Member Dr. Michael Ernst and Superintendent Dr. George Mannon.  Each service was very powerful and pictures will be posted soon.
