Alhambra Happenings:
Carwash Fundraiser for the Family of Ruben Miramontes. Garfield Elementary School student Ruben is an Alhambra resident who needs the community's support. Ruben is afflicted with ALD, an incurable degenerative disease. Presently his hearing is diminishing as well as his eyesight. His mother is employed by the County and has used up her vacation and sick leave time; she is currently on a leave of absence. Friends and co-workers have taken up collections for her and she is expecting more doctor's bills and funeral expenses. The community of Alhambra held a carwash fundraiser for him and his family on June 21st from 8:30am to 3pm at Alhambra Autokraft and at the YMCA. For more info, click here. Click here to view flyer

Prayer Walking the City....Join other followers of Jesus in praying for our city monthly. Meet at Sunrise Christian Community every 4th Thursday of the month from 7:30-9pm to prayer walk the downtown core of Alhambra, praying for God's love and hope to reign on our city streets.
