We hope to INSPIRE people by calling them to pray for their city!  We believe that the greatest source of inspiration comes from on high.  We encourage people to pray the prayer that Jesus taught by saying "Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth (my city!) as it is in heaven."

2010 Good Friday Prayerwalk

The Monterey Park Ministerial Association sponsored the first Good Friday Prayerwalk for Peace this past Good Friday, which brought together close to 100 or more people from the various congregations in the city. As we walked on city streets and ending at Barnes Park, we prayed for peace and shalom in the world and nation, in our families and schools, and also for the "peacekeepers" of our city: our police and fire personnel.  For more photos, click here.
