Volunteer Opportunitites

Mentoring:  Our Theory of Change believes that the Homeless population will decrease as they enter into covenanting relationships with individuals who commit to walking with them through the stages from rehab to integrated life. The following Volunteer opportunities are means to establishing this relationship.

Outreach:  Tuesdays 4:30-6:00pm
Every Tuesday a group of people representing multiple churches in Bellflower and other organizations gather for prayer and head out to various locations in Bellflower.  The group aims to meet some primary needs with food yet offer more developed needs such as love and purpose. Engagement:  Saturdays 7:00-9:00am
Every Saturday a group of volunteers (some from Tuesday night) meet at Calvary Baptist Church to continue building relationships with our Homeless neighbors.  We meet a primary need by offering showers and a hot breakfast and use the time over breakfast to engage people in conversation and prayer.
