10/21/09 Kingdom Causes Alhambra - Monterey Park Update

One of our new gardens in Monterey Park installed on 10/2/09

• Come prayerwalk for the city of Monterey Park.
  
• Raise funds to start and maintain neighborhood gardens that give back to the community.
• Brunch and great raffle prizes from local businesses included at end of walk!

2. Community Thanksgiving" Service: Wednesday, 11/25/09 @ 7:30pm

• We will be having our Community Thanksgiving service at 1st United Methodist Church in Alhambra, 9 N Almansor St.
  
• Our theme this year is "Our Daily Bread." A love offering for Kingdom Causes & People for People (our local food bank) will be taken.
• Participants are encouraged to bring dried and canned goods that go with a traditional turkey dinner, which is distributed for Christmas baskets through People for People.
• If you have a choir or vocal group interested in participating in the service, please contact Jesse at jessec@kingdomcauses.org.

Through your support and sponsorship, we were able to help raise funds to continue our work in Alhambra - Monterey Park, particularly with the Believe Mentoring program with the school district. Thanks again!
