We are a non-profit community mobilizing organization with a mission to be catalysts that inspires, connects and mobilizes people for personal and community transformation.  

Kingdom Causes Alhambra is growing! We are now Kingdom Causes Alhambra/Monterey Park. We welcomeJesse Chang, the new Executive Director/Catalyst working with Mary Glenn, Kingdom Causes Partnership/Training Catalyst.  We pray together for God's Kingdom work in Alhambra/Monterey Park!

7/2/09 Update

Everyone is invited to a benefit piano concert featuring Dr. Lily Chou, pianist on Sunday, July, 11 @ 4pm. Location: Alhambra True Light Presbyterian Church, 20 W. Commonwealth Avenue, Alhambra, CA 91801. The program will consist of Bach and his contemporaries, Beethoven, Rachmaninoff and Liszt.  Suggested donation $15. All proceeds to benefit  Alhambra Youth film Festival, a ministry of Alhambra True Light Presbyterian Church, which is working to inspire youth to share the gospel through film/video. The Alhambra Youth Film Festival will be on 8-22-09.

Alhambra Youth Film Fest - August 22, 2009. The Alhambra Youth Film Fest (AYFF) is a non-profit student-short film festival.  Inspiring the youth, grades 12th and under to have a more direct impact in their local church by creating short stories that may be viewed in their church sermons, Sunday schools, and youth gatherings. Empowering them by bringing their films to the cinema at the AYFF Festival. Hosted by Alhambra True Light Presbyterian Church in conjunction with local church's in the Alhambra area. Opportunities to get involved:

Citizen's Police Academy at Alhambra Police Department. This is a comprehensize sharing of knowledge about the Alhambra Police Department by veteran police officers and staff, that is offered to city residents and businesspersons who want to expand their knowledge about the Alhambra PD. This is offered during an 11 week series of Wednesday evening sessions. The academy includes: lectures, discussions, demonstrations, role-playing exercises and a ride-along with an officer on a regular patrol shift. Stop by the Alhambra PD, 211 S. First Street,  to ask for an application form. For questions, please call the Crime Prevention Division at 626/570-5177.
